The Duke Center for the Study of the Public Domain has released "Tales from the Public Domain: Bound by Law?" a 77-page comic book which entertainingly explores issues of copyright, rights management, and the creative process. In an age when creating digital projects is easier than ever, gaining an understanding of the right issues involved is more important than ever. This free download will initiate faculty and students to some of the complexities involved and aid in learning how to protect creative works.
