Blended Instruction Case Studies: Political Science 50
An Introduction to Comparative Politics class uses online lectures and quizzes to make content easier for students to access and review on a flexible schedule.
In this Blended Instruction Case Studies (BICS) project, approximately half
of the lectures for an Introduction to Comparative Politics (Political
Science 50) were developed in an online format using a variety of
technologies.
Articulate Presenter was used to integrate recorded video segments, narrated PowerPoints including graphics, charts, and tables; Camtasia screen recordings demonstrating data analysis, self-assessment exercises, and downloadable datasets, all in one streamlined interface.
