Adjusting the Saturation

How to adjust the color saturation in an image using Photoshop's Hue and Saturation adjustment.

Hue and Saturation

The digital image now looks almost identical to the original slide, but it is slightly less vibrant. We can boost its color values by adjusting its Saturation.

From the menu bar select: Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation

Peacock - Adjust Hue and Saturation

In this instance we want to saturate the entire image slightly. This dialogue box also allows you to adjust single colors using the pull-down menu at the top. Experiment until you achieve the desired results. Remember to check the Preview box. Click OK.
