Digitizing Your Analog Materials
Here are some ways to take your old analog media and make it digital, and some campus resources available to Faculty and TAs.
Transferring your old analog materials (VHS & cassette tapes) into a
digital format (mini-DV, MP3, etc.) will not only help protect them from the
damage time and storage can cause, but it will also expand your options for
using such materials in the classroom.
The Teaching Enhancement Center is OID's one-stop shop for hardware and software that will allow you to make your teaching materials digital.
TEC also provides many tutorials for doing the transfer yourself.
The Center for Digital Humanities can also help.
