The TA Handbook is a great starting place. It is an indispensable guide for new and returning TAs with information on campus resources, academic policies and procedures, and pedagogical tips. Teach 2 Write

No matter what subject you’re teaching at UCLA, you’re also teaching some kind of writing to your students, whether it’s an essay, a lab report, or an abstract. Chances are, you haven’t had much training in how to do it. Your training can begin with the teach2write website.

Mini-Grants

Mini-grants are available to TAs as well as to faculty members. OID provides each TA the opportunity to request up to $250 each academic year for small-scale projects which improve existing undergraduate courses.
