Excellence at Teaching

Collegium of University Teaching Fellows (CUTF)
Through the CUTF program, some of UCLA's very best advanced graduate students are given the opportunity to develop and teach a lower division seminar at UCLA in their field of specialization on a one-time only basis.

Distinguished Teaching Awards
On nomination from their department, TAs can compete for a distinguished Teaching Award. In the past winners have been awarded $2500 cash, $12,500 Dissertation Year Fellowship from the Graduate Division, a fee remission, and a $500 research grant - a total award value of roughly $16,700. For more information visit the Teaching Committee of the UCLA Academic Senate.
