Relationship with Faculty and Other TAs

TA:
When I am one of several TAs working with the same professor, I find it helpful to know if they are providing homework solutions, how do they structure their sections, etc. My experience is that students will be aware of each TA's practices and it helps if all TAs are on the same page. You do not have to schedule a meeting to discuss the course, but asking a few quick questions when you run into each other in the hallway can go a long way.

Student:
I wish the TAs would talk to each other so that everything is the same in the discussion sections. My friend was in another section and her TA provided a lot of resources to make the material easier to understand. Also, my TA graded A LOT harder than her TA. I felt like I had to do three times the work that my friend had to do in order to get the same grade. It isn't fair that my course grade could be lower than hers just because of the way TA's graded the papers.
