Media Systems Design (MSD) provides consulting, design, fabrication, and installation services to the UCLA community on a recharge basis.

Services include everything from media equipment specifications,
pricing, and purchasing recommendations to complete facility design, project
supervision, installation, and training. In addition, Media Systems Design
provides expertise in the design and implementation of audio/video and data
networks, including certification to all applicable industry standards.
Media Systems Design is responsible for the media systems in the general assignment classrooms and auditoria, as well as OID labs and facilities.
OID has developed a plan for equipping all of the approximately 200 general assignment classrooms with up-to-date media and control systems.
