Instructional Media Production Archives

Instructional Media Production traces its history back to the founding of ETV at UCLA in the mid-1950s. We are a direct decendant of that organization (with a number of name changes and reorganizations along the way). Our archives contains the triumphs (and the follies) of our founders, our present production staff, and all the creative people who have worked here in between.

On a bi-monthly basis, we will haul out some of the treasures from the vaults and feature them here. We hope you find them interesting, entertaining, thought-provoking, or just plain weird. If you want to contact us about any of them, please feel free. If you would like to use them in a class or show them to a group, please contact the Instructional Media Library.

To view these files you will need the RealPlayer, available free of charge from Real Networks. We recommend the G2 player, since these presentations use features unique to that player. Visit our tools page for information on downloading and installing the RealPlayer software.

UCLA and Diversity
Los Angeles, in many ways, is America's "new Ellis Island". Whether viewed as the "first Third World metropolis" or as the prototype for cities of the next millenium, LA provides the context for an examination of the complex issues of diversity at UCLA.
