Instructional Media Collections & Services

The OID Instructional Media Collections & Services (IMCS) is one of UCLA's central resources for the collection and maintenance of instructional media, providing faculty with thousands of films, DVDs and videos specifically for use in classroom instruction.

About the IMCS:

The IMCS primarily serves faculty and departmental personnel who use media in the classroom. The IMCS features an ever growing collection of DVDs, videotapes, laserdiscs, films and CD-ROMs, and houses and maintains several department and study center collections.

Viewing Locations and Hours:

IMCS materials are viewed in the UCLA Instructional Media Lab upstairs in Room 270 of the Powell Library.

Regular school-year hours

  Monday - Thursday 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  Friday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Saturday Closed
  Sunday 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Summer-session hours

  Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  Saturday Closed
  Sunday Closed
