Copyright Issues
The Instructional Media Collections & Services is authorized to monitor compliance with Federal copyright law, 17 United States Code, and the University of California policy governing use of copyrighted video programs. The IMCS serves as a clearinghouse for authorizing playback of all laserdiscs, DVDs,VHS,and BETA videotapes intended for reserve use in the Instructional Media Lab.
