Access to the Instructional Media Collections & Services
UCLA Faculty and Teaching Assistants
All materials from the IMCS collection are provided free of charge to regularly scheduled UCLA classes. Requests for rentals and purchases from off-campus distributors are processed without charge upon receipt of an approved Instructional Improvement Mini-Grant application.
All faculty and teaching assistant requests for classroom screenings of media must be placed through academic department offices. We ask that orders be placed well in advance of the scheduled viewing dates to avoid scheduling conflicts. Some departments have designated one staff member to handle media orders. Please be sure to consult with your individual department for its policy.
UCLA Students
Students may view materials in the Media Lab by making a request at least one full day in advance with the Instructional Media Collections & Services.
UCLA Staff

UCLA University Extension and UCLA Community

Off-campus
An item that is not specified for “UCLA use only” may be rented to off-campus sources. The rental prices are listed in the item record. Rental arrangements may be made through the IMCS office.
