AVS Glossary

Departmental Classroom
There are two kinds of classrooms on campus: general assignment and departmental. Departmental classrooms are available for use only by the department that owns them. That department is responsible for scheduling its classrooms, and AVS serves them only through special arrangement with the department. General assignment classrooms are available for use by all departments, are scheduled through the UCLA Registrar's office, and are served by AVS.
