Slide Projection- One slide projector is located in the very back of the room. The projector does not have its own tray - these must be supplied by the instructor. AVS also has trays available for check-out.
- An infra-red remote control must be checked out from AVS to operate the slide projector.
Data Projection- A NEC Projector is installed in the ceiling. When activated, it can project both video and data.
- A VGA cable can be plugged directly into the video output of most laptops.
Video Projection- The NEC Projector can project video as well.
- Both VHS and DVD decks are located in the media cabinet in the front of the room.
Ethernet- Four ports are available for hooking up to the Internet through the Classroom Network. Two are by the media cabinet, and the other two are on the other side of the blackboard. For instructions on connecting, go to the Classroom Network section.
P.A. System- A wired lavalier microphone is always present at the media cabinet. There is only one microphone input at the media cabinet. (XLR)
- Wireless lavalier microphones are also available to check out for the quarter. Call AVS to reserve one. The frequency is "03".
- Inputs are present to plug in a cassette or CD player and to play through the system.
