  • Buttons to forward / reverse and focus slides are on the wall, near the media cabinet. Input plugs for wired remotes are also located at the front. Call AVS to request wired remotes.

Data Projection

  • A NEC Projector is installed in the ceiling. When activated, it descends and can project both video and data.
  • A Classroom Computer is installed in the room, opposite the media cabinet.
  • A VGA cable can be plugged directly into the video output of most laptops.

Video Projection

  • The NEC Projector can project video as well.
  • Both VHS and DVD players are located in the media cabinet in the front of the room.

Ethernet

  • Three ports are available for hooking up to the Internet through the Classroom Network. Two are by the media cabinet, and the other two are on the other side of the blackboard. For instructions on connecting, go to the Classroom Network section.
  • The Classroom Computer is already connected and configured to the Classroom Network.

P.A. System

  • A wired lavalier microphone is always present at the media cabinet. This is the only voice amplification available for this room.
  • There is only one microphone input at the media cabinet. (XLR)
  • The Classroom Computer is connected to the P.A. system for sound support.
  • Inputs are present at the media cabinet to plug in a cassette or CD player and to play through the system.
