Slide Projectors

  • One slide projector is located the back of the room. The projectors does not have its own tray - these must be supplied by the instructor. AVS also has trays available for checkout.
  • There is a remote control attached to the movable podium.

Data Projection

  • A NEC projector is installed in the ceiling. When activated, it can project both video and data.
  • The Classroom Computer can be used to project on the screen.
  • A VGA cable comes out of the media cabinet, which can be plugged directly into the video output of most laptops.

Video Projection

  • The NEC projector can project video as well.
  • Both VHS and DVD decks are located in the media cabinet in the front of the room.

Ethernet

  • The Classroom Computer is connected to the Classroom Network. There is alo an Ethernet port available on the media cabinet.
  • Two additional ports are available behind the front wall in the south corner of the room.

P.A. System

  • There is only one microphone input at the media cabinet. (XLR)
  • Wireless lavalier microphones are also available to check out for the quarter. Call AVS to reserve one. The frequencies are "13".
  • Inputs are present at the media cabinet to plug in a cassette or CD player and to play through the system.
