Data Projection

  • A Proxima Projector is installed in the ceiling. When activated, it can project both video and data.
  • A VGA cable comes out of the media cabinet, which can be plugged directly into the video output of most laptops.
  • A Classroom Computer is also installed into the media cabinet.

Video Projection

  • The Proxima Projector can project video as well.
  • Both VHS and DVD decks are located in the media cabinet in the front of the room.

Ethernet

  • Four ports are available on the front wall for hooking up to the Internet through the Classroom Network. For instructions on connecting, go to the Classroom Network section.
  • The Classroom Computer is automatically connected to the Classroom Network.

P.A. System

  • There is only one microphone input at the media cabinet. (XLR)
  • Wireless lavalier microphones are also available to check out for the quarter. Call AVS to reserve one. The frequencies are "16".
  • Inputs are present at the media cabinet to plug in a cassette or CD player and to play through the system.
