Tutorials

• There are currently two tutorials for this room. To view them, you will need Adobe Flash Player. For a free download, click here.
• The Media Cabinet Overview tutorial goes over the entire cabinet and then specifically looks at the video switcher.
• The DVD / VHS Operation tutorial demonstrates how to play either a VHS tape or a DVD through the room's video projector.

Video Projection

• The NEC Projector can project video as well.
• Both VHS and DVD decks are located in the media cabinet in the front of the room.

Ethernet

• Four ports are available on the front wall for hooking up to the Internet through the Classroom Network. For instructions on connecting, go to the Classroom Network section.
• The Classroom Computer is automatically connected to the Classroom Network.

P.A. System

• There is only one microphone input at the media cabinet. (XLR)
• Wireless lavalier microphones are also available to check out for the quarter. Call AVS to reserve one. The frequencies are "14".
• Inputs are present at the media cabinet to plug in a cassette or CD player and to play through the system.
