  • An infra-red remote is attached to the podium. If it is not present, please contact AVS by using the ring-down phone at the front of the room.

Data Projection

  • A JVC Projector is installed in the ceiling. When activated, it can project both video and data.
  • A Classroom Computer is installed in the media cabinet at the front of the room.
  • A VGA cable can be plugged directly into the video output of most laptops, and there is an attached audio cable for playing laptop sound in the room.

Video Projection

  • The JVC Projector can project video as well.
  • Both VHS and DVD decks are located in the media cabinet at the front of the room.

Ethernet

  • Two ports are available on the wall for hooking up to the Internet through the Classroom Network.
  • The Classroom Computer has its own port and is already configured to the Classroom Network. There is also an Ethernet port on the media cabinet.

P.A. System

  • Wireless lavalier microphones are available to check out for the quarter. Call AVS to reserve one. The frequency is "62".
  • There is only one microphone input at the media cabinet (XLR).
  • Inputs are present on the media cabinet to plug in other media devices (laptop, cassette player, video camera, etc.) to play through the system.
  • The Classroom Computer is connected to the P.A. system for sound support.
