Slide Projection

  • One slide projector is located in the very back of the room. The projector does not have its own tray - this must be supplied by the instructor. AVS has trays available for check-out also.
  • There is a remote control attached to the movable podium in the front of the room.

Data Projection

  • An NEC Projector is installed in the ceiling. When activated, it can project both video and data.
  • A Classroom Computer is installed.
  • A VGA cable can be plugged directly into the video output of most laptops, and there is an attached audio cable for playing laptop sound in the room.

Video Projection

Ethernet

  • One port is available on the back of the installed computer for hooking up to the Internet through the Classroom Network.
  • The Classroom Computer has its own port and is already configured to the Classroom Network.

P.A. System

  • A wired lavalier microphone is always present at the media cabinet.
  • There is only one microphone input at the media cabinet. (XLR)
  • Wireless lavalier microphones are also available to check out for the quarter. Call AVS to reserve one. The frequency is "01".
  • Inputs are present on the media cabinet to plug in other media devices (cassette player, video camera, etc.) and to play through the system.
  • The Classroom Computer is connected to the P.A. system for sound support.
