Tutorials

• There are currently two tutorials for this room. To view them, you will need Adobe Flash Player. For a free download, click here.
• The Media Cabinet Overview tutorial goes over the entire cabinet and then specifically looks at the video switcher.
• The DVD / VHS Operation tutorial demonstrates how to play either a VHS tape or a DVD through the room's video projector.

Slide Projection

• There is no slide projector permanently assigned to this room. Please contact AVS to arrange for this equipment to be delivered or to see if it can be installed on a quarterly basis.

Data Projection

• An Epson Projector is installed in the ceiling. When activated, it can project both video and data.
• A Classroom Computer is installed.
• A VGA cable can be plugged directly into the video output of most laptops.

Video Projection

• The Epson Projector can project video as well.
• Both VHS and DVD decks are located in the media cabinet in the front of the room.

Ethernet

• Two ports are available on the wall for hooking up to the Internet through the Classroom Network. For instructions on connecting, go to the Classroom Network section.
• The Classroom Computer also has Classroom Network connectivity.

P.A. System

• There is only one microphone input at the media cabinet. (XLR)
• Inputs are present to plug in a cassette or CD player and to play through the system.
• The Classroom Computer is connected to the P.A. system for sound support.
