Slide Projection- No slide projectors are permanently installed in this room. Call AVS to set up a slide projector pick-up or quarterly installation.
Data Projection- A Proxima Projector is installed in the ceiling. When activated, it can project both video and data.
- A Classroom Computer is installed at the media cabinet.
- A VGA cable comes out of the media cabinet, which can be plugged directly into the video output of most laptops.
Video Projection- The Proxima Projector can project video as well.
- Both VHS and DVD decks are located in the media cabinet at the front of the room.
Ethernet- Two ports are available on the front wall of the room. For instructions on connecting, go to the Classroom Network section. They are identified as "AP-22" and "AP-24".
- There is also a Ethernet port available on the media cabinet.
- The Classroom Computer has its own port and is already configured to the Classroom Network.
Sound System- There is only one microphone input at the media cabinet (XLR).
- Wireless lavalier microphones are available to check out for the quarter. The frequency is "03".
- The Classroom Computer is connected to the P.A. system for sound support.
- Inputs are present on the media cabinet to plug in other media devices (cassette player, video camera, etc.) and to play through the system.
