Slide Projection

• Two slide projectors are located in the very back of the room. The projectors do not have their own trays - these must be supplied by the instructor. AVS has trays available for check-out also.
• A remote control is attached to the movable podium.

Data Projection

• A NEC projector  is installed in the ceiling. When activated, it descends and can project both video and data.
• A VGA cable comes out of the media cabinet, which can be plugged directly into the video output of most laptops.

Video Projection

• The NEC projector can also project video.
• Both VHS and DVD players are located in the media cabinet in the front of the room.

Ethernet

• Two ports are available for hooking up to the Internet through the Classroom Network. They are by the media cabinet. For instructions on connecting, go to the Classroom Network section.

P.A. System

• A wired lavalier microphone is always present at the media cabinet.
• There is only one microphone input at the media cabinet. (XLR)
• Wireless lavalier microphones are also available to check out for the quarter. Call AVS to reserve one. The frequency is "01".
• Inputs are present at the media cabinet to plug in a cassette or CD player and to play through the system.
