- The Media Cabinet Overview tutorial goes over the entire cabinet and then specifically looks at the video switcher.
- The DVD / VHS Operation tutorial demonstrates how to play either a VHS tape or a DVD through the room's video projector.
Slide Projection- One slide projector is located in a cabinet in the very back of the room. The cabinet is always unlocked. The projector does not have its own tray - these must be supplied by the instructor. AVS has trays available for check-out also.
- Forward/Reverse and Focus buttons are also on the wall. Input plugs for wired remotes are also located at the front wall, near the bottom of the media cabinet. Call AVS to request wired remotes.
Data Projection- A NEC Projector is installed in the ceiling. When activated, it can project either video or data.
- A VGA cable comes out of the media cabinet, which can be plugged directly into the video output of most laptops.
Video ProjectionEthernet- Four ports are available for connecting to the Internet through the Classroom Network. Two are by the media cabinet, and the other two are on the other side of the blackboard. For instructions on connecting, go to the Classroom Network section.
P.A. System- A wired lavalier microphone is always present at the media cabinet. This is the only voice amplification available for this room.
- There is only one microphone input at the media cabinet. (XLR)
- Input plugs are present at the media cabinet to plug in a cassette or CD player and to play through the system.
