Teaching with Technology Back to School Workshop
OID's Back to School TWT Workshop
OID cordially invites you to attend the 2007 Teaching with Technology Back to School Workshop on Tuesday September 25th from 8:30 Am - 4:30 PM. The workshop is designed for faculty at UCLA who are:
1) interested in incorporating new and emerging technologies into their current teaching methods
2) seeking more information on using teaching technologies, and
3) seeking to learn some of the basic skills necessary to begin incorporating technology to improve communications with students.
The sessions of the workshop focus on a wide of technologies that are of growing
importance in today’s academic environment, and each topic is guided by an emphasis on the pedagogical values of employing such technologies.
While sessions cover a variety of teaching technologies, no previous level of skill with these technologies is assumed. We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity.
All workshops will take place in OID's training room in 186 Powell Library Building.
OID has 7 PC and 8 MAC laptops that may be used during the workshop or you are free to bring your own.
