|
The Seminar will examine the
history of the representation and preservation of selected historical
monuments of India's built heritage. It will encourage students to
reflect upon these monuments as more than dead material remains. The
monuments will be thus examined as vital spaces that affect the
everyday lives of the people as they negotiate the meaning of their
society and their existence within it. |
