The Teaching Enhancement Center is reached via the stairs on the east side of Powell Library. We're the first door on your left.
TEC@OID assists UCLA Faculty in developing instructional multimedia presentations by providing equipment, software and training from experienced consultants. By providing a place for Faculty to learn and to use technologies, professors (or their GSRs) have successfully completed projects scanning 35-mm slides, creating PowerPoint presentations which incorporate graphics, video, or audio for classroom use, creating CD-based courseware, or converting video or audio into digital formats for use on a website or in class.
TEC@OID is a great place to come to when you have any question about teaching with technology. We provide services as well as consultation, such as assisting in the creation of Flash objects, or learning to use the features of a course management system. TEC is a place that gives people ideas and options that they can try.
