Pulse: The Smart Pen
A remarkable tool that is transforming pen and paper.
Pulse: The Smart Pen is a recording device that syncs your written text to audio being spoken while you are writing. To play back your written text, simply tap on the area of the notes you would like to review and the recording automatically starts at that position. While this device is being marketed to students for "never miss a word" note taking, it is also a very useful tool for instructors to use to extend office hours, distribute additional information, descriptions, directions, and examples to the entire class with a few clicks of the mouse.
The Smart Pen comes with a special 100 page dot tablet and users guide.
The Kit is comprised of a 1 GB Smart Pen, a leatherette carrying case, a USB
charging and transfer cradle, a set of 3-D earbud microphones, and a few extra
ink refills and a stylus.
