Media Production Services

Instructional Media Production (IMP) offers a professional level of expertise and service to enable video and audio projects to become a fully realized productions.

Instructional Media Production

Videotape speakers, seminars and events, and make these available on tape, as a DVD, as a file, or via our streaming video service. In addition, we can prepare your project for broadcast on UCTV. See examples of video projects and presentation designs


Edit clips from various sources, and format them for delivery in any format, utilizing our two AVID Media Composer non-linear editing stations. See simple edit projects and complete production ideas


Transfer important archival material from an older video format to DVD for preservation and easy access. See what's required and what's possible




Record presentations in our studio incorporating PowerPoint or other visual support for playback at a conference that you can't attend, or for "make-up" sessions for you classes when you travel. Take advantage of a professional studio environment

We will be happy to guide you in thinking about your project and to prepare a customized proposal for the work you have in mind.

Our services are available on a recharge basis to anyone at UCLA for projects which support the academic, administrative or research mission of the university.

Projects that directly support the undergraduate curriculum may qualify for additional funding from OID.
