Grants
OID in conjunction with the Committee on Instructional Improvement Programs provides grant funding to instructors and departments to support projects designed to enhance curricular experimentation and development and to improve undergraduate instruction.
- Instructional Improvement Grants - Supports large-scale faculty, department, and college initiated projects.
- Media Conversion Grants - Provides the equipment and OID technician time to convert 35mm slides and videotape to digital media.
- Mini-Grants - For small-scale projects such as buying media, honoraria, and field trips.
- CCLE Innovation & Development Program - UCLA's Common Collaboration and Learning Environment has a separate grant program available to instructors and departments which is focused on encouraging enhancements to the campus CMS. More about this grant program can be found on the CCLE here. Where appropriate, projects may apply for partial funding from both IIP and CCLE.
