Workshops and Seminars

In addition to the DOTT forum series, OID hosts technology workshops and teaching seminars for the campus community.

Instructors can attend technology workshops conducted by OID's Teaching Enhancement Center on topics such as: Introduction to PowerPoint and Dreamweaver, Using Sound and Video in your course, Creating online tutorials and lectures.  Appointments are also available for individualized instruction.  Information on scheduled workshops is available here.

Teaching assistants can take advantage of quarter long seminars, workshops and an annual conference sponsored by OID.  These programs help first time TAs hone their teaching skills, and train new and experienced TAs in the use of computing software and resources to address teaching problems.
