Tools for Teaching
In 2002, when the FCET launched the Copenhaver Awards for Innovation in Teaching with Technology, the driving purpose was to help create some opportunities for faculty to share their experiences, trade ideas, adapt strategies and tools they discovered, etc. During the process of getting to know the work of the 90+ instructors who have been nominated for the award since 2002, we've discovered many tools that UCLA faculty, usually together with teams of graduate students, undergrads, and IT staff, have developed and refined and redeveloped to help their students grasp some of the most difficult concepts in the courses they teach.
This website, launched in spring 2005, is the first step in shining a spotlight on the tools that UCLA faculty have created, are using, and are eager to share with colleagues.
