UCTV The Struggle for Social Justice
Excerpts from a Symposium on Recognition, Reparations, and Redress
> CHECK BROADCAST SCHEDULE

Controversial and hotly debated, new calls for reparations are making headlines around the nation and across the globe. Mandated by international covenants governing crimes against humanity, the issue of reparations is one that has become increasingly grounded in Ethnic Studies scholarship and global intellectual circles as meriting further research and discussion.

This event hosted at UCLA brings together scholars, activists and community members to examine the cross-cutting social justice issues significant for reparations seeking for the African American, Asian American, Native American, and Chicano/Latino/Mexicano communities.

A series of three programs provide excerpts from the symposium.
