John Adams Mini-Series now at IMCS
Using an OID mini-grant, professor Karen Rowe obtained the HBO mini-series: "I regularly assign to my graduate and undergraduate classes the Letters
of Abigail and John (Adams), teaching them both as historical documents and
as literary constructions. In this great age of the epistolary, these letters
constitute a remarkable record not only of the courtship and life-long
relationship of two prominent figures central to the American Revolution, but
also the formation of American ideals, morals, and the new Republic." I can only
imagine that the John Adams mini-series will be of equal utility for
courses taught through the Department of History." Instructors may schedule this title for class use by contacting OID's Instructional Media Collection & Services. (IMCS)
